Willemstad
Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao with approximately 140,000 inhabitants. In and around the capital, there are many sights to see. You can shop, dine in one of the cozy restaurants, admire the buildings along the Handelskade, or pay a visit to the Kura Hulanda Museum. Wondering what there is to do? Beaches and bays
Curaçao is known for its beautiful beaches and bays, which are true attractions on the island. Many hotels and resorts are located on or near the beach or a beautiful bay. Must-see hotspots include: Jan Thiel Bay, Mambo Beach, and Playa Grandi.
Pontjesbrug
The sightseeing spot "Pontjesbrug" in Curaçao is also known as the Queen Emma Bridge. The bridge is 168 meters long and floats on the water. What makes this hotspot unique is that the bridge can swing open. In 2006, the bridge underwent renovation.
Christoffelberg
Climbing the Christoffelberg is something we highly recommend to many people when they ask us, "What is there to do on Curaçao?" This hotspot is definitely worth a visit. Ascend the 375-meter-high mountain when you're looking for an active activity on the island.
Diving and snorkeling

Handelskade
In the past, trading took place at the Handelskade, hence the name. Ships were unloaded here. Today, it's a popular hotspot because of the beautiful colored buildings, restaurants, and shops.
Zoutpannen
Take a walk around the salt pans and enjoy the beautiful nature. The salt pans were used to extract salt from seawater. Many birds live in this natural area.
Musea
If you want a break from the beach for a day, opt for a visit to a museum. Well-known museums on the island include: Kura Hulanda, Mikve, and Tula. The Maritime Museum is also a fun attraction.
Shete Boka National Park
This nature reserve is located in Bandabou and is approximately 200 hectares in size. It is situated on the north coast of the island. Enjoy the pristine nature and the numerous bays during one of the hiking trails.
Turtles
One of the most enjoyable attractions of Curaçao, in our opinion, is definitely the turtles. These are such beautiful animals. You can swim with turtles and spot them at Klein Curaçao and Playa Grandi.
